An UHNW couple based in Long Island, NY is seeking a highly capable Estate Manager to oversee the full operations of their private residence. This role requires someone polished, solutions-focused, and service-driven, equally comfortable managing a team, overseeing vendors, and stepping in with hands-on support when needed.
The Estate Manager will ensure the residence and grounds are impeccably maintained, staff are well-coordinated and high-performing, and events are executed to a polished, professional standard.
Oversee all daily operations of the main residence and exterior grounds
Conduct walkthroughs to ensure the home and grounds are always guest-ready and well-maintained
Coordinate with service providers and vendors for landscaping, systems maintenance, and seasonal upkeep
Manage household inventories, ordering, and budget tracking
Supervise and support household staff including housekeeping, culinary, maintenance, and grounds teams
Develop schedules, delegate responsibilities, and ensure consistent, high-level performance
Foster a respectful, detail-oriented, and professional service environment
Support planning and execution of private gatherings and events
Coordinate event logistics, vendors (caterers, bartenders, valet), and setup
Provide light service when needed, greeting guests, preparing drinks, overseeing dinner setups
Serve as the point of contact between the Principal and household team
Maintain clear, proactive communication and regular updates on property status
Oversee estate security systems and protocols
Service-minded, detail-oriented, and discreet
Comfortable balancing leadership with hands-on support
Proactive problem-solver with excellent communication and organizational skills
Tech-savvy and familiar with modern home systems and tools
Experience working in high-standard private households
5+ years of experience as an Estate Manager, House Manager, or similar role
Proven ability to manage household teams, vendors, and property systems
Experience with event support and hospitality in UHNW environments
Valid driver’s license required
Flexibility for evenings/weekends and occasional travel
